Code Blocks need a Business plan or above
This is the thing to check first, because it stops the whole approach. Squarespace restricts Code Blocks and code injection to Business and Commerce plans; Personal plans cannot use them. Any guide that omits this is wasting your afternoon, so: confirm your plan before you start.
Where a wall works on Squarespace
Squarespace sites tend to be design-led and image-heavy, which changes where a wall helps and where it competes with what is already there.
Below the fold on the homepage
Squarespace homepages usually open with a full-bleed image. A wall directly beneath adds proof without fighting the hero for attention.
A dedicated gallery or press page
Where a Squarespace site would otherwise carry a manually-updated gallery that stopped being updated in March.
Product pages, on Commerce
Customer photos next to the item, in an Additional Info section.
Footer, via code injection
For a floating launcher across the whole site rather than a page section.
Adding it to Squarespace

Check your plan first
Business or Commerce. On Personal there is no Code Block and no way to add one.

Add a Code Block
Edit the page, click an insert point, and choose Code from the block menu. Set the block's type to HTML.

Paste and turn off Display Source
Paste both lines. Make sure the Display Source checkbox is unticked, or Squarespace will print your snippet as visible code on the page.

Save and view the live page
The editor shows a placeholder rather than the feed. Open the published page in a normal tab to see it render.
What trips people up on Squarespace
Two of these account for nearly every support question, and both look like the embed is broken when it is not.
- Being on a Personal plan. There is no workaround — Code Blocks are a paid-tier feature
- Leaving Display Source ticked, which prints the snippet on the page as text instead of running it
- Judging it from the editor, which renders Code Blocks as a grey placeholder by design. Always check the live page
- Squarespace's own AJAX page loading on some templates can interfere with scripts on navigation. If the wall appears on a hard refresh but not when clicking through the nav, disable Ajax loading in the template's site styles
Squarespace questions
No. Squarespace reserves Code Blocks and code injection for Business and Commerce plans. This is not something an embed provider can work around — the block simply is not available.
