Delete your data.

Last updated

If you connected a social account to Vitraz — for yourself, or because someone asked you to — here is how to disconnect it and have what we collected removed.

If you connected an Instagram or Facebook account

The fastest route is through Meta, and it does not require a Vitraz account:

  • Facebook:Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites → find Vitraz → Remove.
  • Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → find Vitraz → Remove.

Meta notifies us automatically. We delete the access token, the connection, and every post imported through it, then return a confirmation code to Meta which you can look up at vitraz.io/data-deletion/<code>.

If you connected a LinkedIn Page

LinkedIn has no equivalent automatic notification, so email privacy@vitraz.io with the name of the Company Page. You can also revoke our access at any time under LinkedIn Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services, which stops any further collection immediately.

If you have a Vitraz account

Disconnecting a source in Settings → Sources removes the stored credentials right away. Note that posts already collected stay on your walls by design — disconnecting an account should not silently empty a live page. To remove those too, delete the source’s posts in moderation, or delete your account in Settings, which removes the workspace, its feeds, sources and every collected post.

What gets deleted

When we act on a deletion request for a connected account we remove:

  • the access token and any refresh token, which are stored encrypted;
  • the connection record, including which account it pointed at;
  • every post imported through that connection, and its media references.

We keep a record that the request happened — the confirmation code, the date, and how many connections were removed — so the code stays resolvable afterwards. That record holds no profile information.

How long it takes

Requests through Meta are actioned immediately, in the same request. Emailed requests are answered within 30 days, and usually far sooner. If you have not heard back, write again to privacy@vitraz.io — see also our privacy policy.
